Lately I’m getting more and more fond of Brussels, and the more I live in this city, the more I love exploring it, discovering its hidden gems, finding out my best spots for a walk, building up my favorite city tours.
So when Yeasle contacted me for her couple session, asking me to help her and Tim to visit and discover Brussels with a city tour, I was just thrilled, excited, honored.
Straight away, I felt that Yeasle and Tim are so sweet that now I just can’t describe it. In her first email, Yeasle opened up and told me some important details and milestones about their wonderful and not always easy love story. Distance have been there for some long periods, and it’s still there, for work and study reasons. But Yeasle and I also shared a lot of thoughts about Love and Life, and it has been like we knew each other, like we were already friends.
One of the first things she said to me is that she and Tim were shy and they didn’t know how to look good in the pictures. But who ever said that if you are shy, you can’t look good in pictures? Shy is beautiful, shy is sweet!
I want to picture couples as they are, and give memories that truly belong. So I don’t see reasons to hide shyness or to show something that’s not really yours.
And Yeasle and Tim are a bit shy, in front of the camera, maybe.
And they also are extremely sensitive, deeply linked and connected, hilarious, kind, generous, curious and empathetic.
I probably wasn’t able to show all of their wonder with the pictures I took during their couple session and city tour in Brussels, but I tried.
That day it was freezing and it rained. But Brussels had something magic, and we really enjoyed our time. And some Belgian chocolate! 🙂
